Creative writing
competition 2020

TogetherInTheUK are delighted to launch our creative writing competition! The competition is open to first and second generation migrants to the UK.

We want to hear YOUR stories about migrating to the UK, it can be a poem or a short story/essay. Submit your entry to win a Chrome Workbook, a place on Migrant Voice’s media lab training, a career counselling session, an illustration for your work in the Adult Category. In the children’s category, win a mobile phone, cinema vouchers, £100, a scooter. If you win, you will be invited to perform your entry at our next event.

As the Beatles once said ‘It’s a long and winding road, that leads to your door.’ We know that moving to the UK can be a tough time, but we also know that there a lot of good things that come as a result of big life changes and we want you to use your words to inspire us and tell us the things that made you smile, laugh and feel positive about migrating.

Enter your submission stating your name, age and category from the choices below before 24th January 2021 to be in with a chance of winning. Good luck!
